What does it mean to awaken your chakras?

03 Feb What does it mean to awaken your chakras?

“Awakening is not changing who you are but discarding who you are not.” ~Deepak Chopra

Chakras are the wheels of life that carry you on your life’s journey. For that journey to go the distance, those inner wheels need to be balanced to run smoothly.

Just as a lamp only serves its purpose when it is switched on, when your chakras are activated, you immediately understand what all the fuss is about. Activation brings that full feeling of aliveness that is your birthright. And you get it within your own body, with an immediate knowing that is beyond intellect.

Activating the chakras means igniting them with prana, energy, or charge. This can be done with breath, yoga postures, bioenergetic exercises, sound, and connection with the psychological material that makes up your inner landscape. It’s an exciting journey of coming home to yourself, but in an awakened state.

The chakras also provide a map for the spiritual journey of awakening. Step by step, they provide tools for navigating the journey of life in a way that is more conscious, more purposeful, and more gracious. Understanding the map means you’ll never get lost on the journey. This is not hand waving over the chakras, but utilizing simple tools you can use the rest of your life to energize, balance, and heal.

Our task at this time is for as many people as possible to awaken as fast as they can. Your own awakening serves that purpose.
